EnergyUSA Propane Teams with Maine Modular
Home Builders Association and Others

Energy USA Propane teams with Maine HBRA Modular Home Builders Association, Bath Regional Vocational School, and local businesses on the Maine coast to create this green, propane-fueled, modular home for a low-income family. Located in the central coast of Maine, this home's energy costs are projected at only $600 per year! The home has a combination heat and hot water ultra-high-efficiency, wall-hung boiler. The home was piped for additional gas appliances including a quick-connect outlet on the deck for the grill. This is a great example of industry in Maine teaching students the value of giving back, teaching them a trade, and teaching them how propane is the answer to home energy efficiency! What a great project! Thanks to Scott Brown for his enthusiasm and commitment to this effort.
